Does the NYT Spelling Bee have a time limit?
The New York Times Spelling Bee does not have a time limit per se. It is a daily game, meaning a new game is presented each day. You can play that day's game anytime during the 24-hour period it's available, from the time it's posted until the next day's game is released at 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET).
In other words, you have a whole day to find as many words as you can, but you can't play a game from a previous day, nor can you play the game for the next day in advance. Therefore, you could say that there's a time limit in the sense that you have a 24-hour window to play each game, but within that window, you can play at your own pace.
